RI Commissioner's Seal
The RI Commissioner’s Seal Council Designation certifies that a student is proficient in standards aligned to high school expectations in English Language Arts and Mathematics, as confirmed by external evidence and determined by the RI Department of Education. The seal is awarded by the district and included on a student’s diploma and transcript.
Requirements
To earn a RI Commissioner’s Seal, students must successfully meet the established benchmark on one approved ELA assessment AND one approved mathematics assessment.

Advanced Placement: English Language & Composition - Level 3 or above
Advanced Placement: English Literature & Composition - Level 3 or above

PARCC Algebra 1 - Level 4 and above/ 750
PSAT Mathematics - 480
SAT Mathematics - 530
Advanced Placement: Calculus AB - Level 3 or above
Advanced Placement: Statistics - Level 3 or above
